The University Counseling Service (UCS) offers a variety of free and confidential counseling services. The UCS staff is comprised of licensed practitioners from psychology and social work, graduate student interns, and practicum students in psychology and human services programs. Services include individual and group counseling and therapy, couples counseling, brief counseling for stress management and crisis intervention, career counseling and programs, disability testing and counseling, and academic and interpersonal skills programs. Students can see a counselor on a walk-in basis Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or can call for an appointment. The UCS is located at Westlawn, telephone 335-7294.
