Video Operations offers numerous services to students, faculty, and staff for instructional purposes at The University of Iowa College of Law.
Recording Classes and Events
Subject to the College of Law's General Policy on Recording Classes for Students, Video Operations (VO) may video record classes and skill exercises for students. Students must comply with their instructors' or organizations' policies and with VO procedures for requesting and using this service to assure proper, effective use of service.Videos are available for four weeks after the record date. After that time they are automatically removed from the system.

The Video Operations department also has several "Flip" cameras available for checkout for Law Events and Classes. For a quick video on how the Flip cameras work go here. To check out cameras visit the staff in room 110 or email us.
Classroom Video System (CVS) Project for Digital Recording
Regularly scheduled classes in Rooms 115, 125, 225, 235, 245, 265, 275, and 285 are digitally recorded. To request a class be recorded or to view a video, visit the Online Recording Request Form, log in, and follow the appropriate link. Requests are subject to the instructors' recording policies (click the link to view). Students may visit room 130 of the Law Library to watch video streams or borrow headphones at the Law Library Circulation Desk.
