Students join their tour groups at the annual Admitted Students Day.
Tours During the Academic Year
Visits for prospective students generally include attending a class and a tour of the building. Tours are given by current law students, so we do not schedule law school visits during school holidays, on weekends, or one week before or during examination periods. Self-guided tours are available at any time, along with an appointment with an admissions counselor.
Tours will be given during the following dates in 2012:
Spring 2012: January 18 - April 11
- Mondays: Class visit at 11:30 a.m. to Criminal Law with Professor Emily Hughes and tour at 12:35 p.m.
- Wednesdays: Class visit at 11:30 a.m. to Criminal Law with Professor Emily Hughes and tour at 12:35 p.m.
- Fridays: Class visit at 11 a.m. to Family Law with Professor Angela Onwuachi-Willig and tour at 12:35 p.m.
- Admitted Students Day - March 22-23
Tours During Academic Breaks
It may be possible to schedule a tour-only visit during winter, spring, or summer break, depending on tour guide availability. When student guides are not available, prospective students are welcome to come and take a self-guided tour. Prospective students who visit during these breaks will not be able to sit in on a law class because regular classes will not be in session.
2012 Spring Break: March 10 to 18
2012 Summer Break: May 7 to August 20
