Professor Wendie Schneider joined the faculty of the College of Law in 2003. She received her B.A. in History from Stanford University in 1992, and her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2001. She received her Ph.D. from Yale University in May 2006. Her dissertation was awarded Yale University's Hanz Gatzke Prize for European history. She clerked for the Honorable Sandra Lynch, United States Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit in 2002-03.
Schneider's writing has appeared in The Yale Law Journal and Law & Social Inquiry, where she received the Graduate Student Writing Prize. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal of Law & the Humanities, and a Notes Editor at The Yale Law Journal. At the College, she teaches American and British legal history and Professional Responsibility.
Schneider is a member of the Massachusetts bar. |
