Sean R. Berry

BBA, University of Notre Dame, 1982
JD, Northwestern University School of Law, 1987

Sean Berry earned a BA from the University of Notre Dame in 1982, and a JD from Northwestern University School of Law in 1987. He practiced law with Musick, Peeler & Garrett, a civil litigation firm in Los Angeles, from 1987 to 1989, then joined the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California, where he worked until 1999. That year he moved to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Iowa. Mr. Berry has extensive experience investigating and prosecuting complex financial crimes. He teaches Federal Criminal Practice with C.J. Williams at the University of Iowa and trial advocacy at the National Advocacy Center, an arm of the U.S. Department of Justice that provides training to Department prosecutors.
