Michelle Falkoff graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1995, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She then received her law degree from Columbia University and practiced intellectual property litigation in Silicon Valley. In 2002, she left legal practice to come to the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fiction Writing in 2004. She has worked at the law school in various capacities since she moved to Iowa City, and now she is pleased to be teaching Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research.
