Video Conferencing
The College of Law is a participant in the Law School Connect videoconferencing network, which enables law firms, judges and nonprofit employers to remotely interview Iowa students via videoconferencing equipment and network connectivity in place in the law school.

Through this technology, Iowa students are provided access to a greatly expanded arena of legal employers. If you need to use videoconferencing, please contact Craig Spitzer.

Judges do not have to pay access fees to this service; they are just charged a nominal charge for the gateway.  This benefits students applying for clerkships in locations that are difficult to reach. Students interested in using videoconferencing for a clerkship interview should contact Amy Liu

For information regarding participating legal employers, please see  Law School Connect. When applying to any of these employers, you should mention your access to remote interviewing through Law School Connect.
