The Career Services Office at the College of Law hosts several on-campus interview programs. They host an Early Bird Interview week at the Pomerantz Career Center in August and hold regular on-campus interviews at the Boyd Law Building during the fall and winter semesters.
The University of Iowa College of Law provides a variety of ways for employers to learn more about its students and graduates.
Career Services uses the Symplicity CSM System to manage its on-campus interview program and job listings as well as to advertise its programs. Please contact law-careerservices@uiowa.edu with any questions.

Employers are often surprised at the wide array of firms, government agencies, and other employers that interview at Iowa. Most of the major firms from Iowa, Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Phoenix participate in on-campus interviewing in the fall as well as various California, D.C., New York, and Texas firms. Several major national firms have recognized Iowa as one of their most reliable sources for new associates because of their previous success with Iowa students.

Career Services relies on various employers to provide programs to students. Students look forward to these programs, which can cover topics such as interview skills, various practice areas, life in a particular city, or learning to be a successful summer associate. Career Services welcomes the involvement of any employer in our programming series. To organize a program for Iowa students, please contact Career Services.
Our students and their dedication to hard-work and professional success are the reason employers frequent our campus each year. Approximately 200 first year students enter Iowa's J.D. program and 15 foreign-trained legal scholars and practitioners enter Iowa's LL.M program annually.
Employers who do not visit the Iowa Law campus can still register and post position information through the Symplicity Career Management System. There firms can indicate an interest in receiving résumés. Please follow the instructions for job postings in Symplicity.
Off-Campus Recruiting Programs
Iowa participates in several off-campus recruiting events that enable interested employers to interview Iowa students without traveling to Iowa City. Below are links to the job fairs in which our students participate.
