Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, Germany Study Abroad

Bucerius Law School is the only private university for law in Germany, providing a legal education in four years focused on international business. It opened its doors in 2000. Bucerius was founded with the generous support of the Ebelin and Gerd Bucerius Zeit Foundation. (Gerd Bucerius was the long-time publisher of die Zeit.) Bucerius has set high admissions and academic standards in order to be a leading law school. The Bucerius Law School facilities (excluding the library cupola) are accessible to individuals with disabilities. For more details, see:

Every fall, Bucerius sends all of its third-year students to study abroad in one of its 69 exchange partner schools for the fall semester and welcomes in their place exchange students from the many leading law schools in the United States, England, and elsewhere that have signed exchange agreements with it. We received our first Bucerius exchange student in fall 2006. Another comes next fall. We have sent seven students so far.
