Insurance

Participants are required to have a valid health and accident insurance policy while abroad. The University of Iowa reserves the right to require proof of insurance as a condition for enrollment in the program. Students should indicate the name of their insurance carrier on the program application. If you are not presently insured, you can obtain insurance for the trip as one of the benefits of obtaining an International Student Card. In Iowa City, these cards are available at the Office of International Education and Services, 120 International Center, Iowa City, Iowa 52242 or through Council Travel.
