The College's Academic Achievement Program ("AAP") helps students maximize their academic potential as they make the transition from successful undergraduate careers to the unique challenge of law study. The services of the AAP are open to all, with a special emphasis on helping first-year students. AAP offers numerous services, including a program series for first-year students on legal study skills and exam-taking, individual appointments for students, Fall 1L Programs, and a series of panel discussions on practicing in particular areas of the law. In addition, AAP co-sponsors and coordinates the First Year at Iowa (FYI) student mentoring program.
