FYI Mentorship Program

The Academic Achievement Program co-sponsors the First Year at Iowa student mentorship program in which an upper-class student volunteer serves as a mentor to a group of 15 first-year students.  The program provides first-year students with an additional support network of peers as well as the advice of an experienced law student.  Upper-class mentors meet with the program director regularly and receive training in leadership techniques, diversity issues, and recognition of potential concerns.
